Mad about doors

I do like doors.
The older and more weathered the better.
Why is that?

    I used to work on cruise ships and used to take LOTS of pictures of doors and windows in every port I visited (I shot REAL film back then!). Your post reminded me of those days and makes me want to dig out my old photos and find those shots. Thanks for the memories :)
