Wishlist Wednesday - 8
I'm going travelling next week!
I'm very excited!
We're going to Laos and Cambodia, and it's the first big holiday we've had like this for a while.
In preparation I had my hair cut off so it will be easier to manage while I'm travelling.
It will be hot over there in May so I need a big sun hat.
this one is reversible - so it's two hats for the price of one.
I need a small backpack for the plane and for sightseeing.
This one is probably too beautiful - but this is only a wish after all!
Lastly a travel journal to record all my adventures!

Monday treasuries
It's been a quiet couple of weeks for treasuries.
I haven't been around a the right time to post one and until yesterday no-one had selected my treasures!
There must be a secret to getting your items chosen for inclusion in a treasury.
1. You must have fab photos.
They have to be clear and sharp and probably bright.
2. You have to make your products and yourself known.
You can do this by networking with other etsy sellers, either in the forums or by joining a streetteam.
You can leave comments on other people's treasuries.
They might put your shop or an item in their favorites and then when they are getting a treasury together they might seek you out.
3. I have heard some sellers renew a few things when the treasury is about to open, so that they come up early in the searches.
Have you got any tips for being a successful treasury featured seller?

I was thrilled to be notified by earcandyart that I was included in this bright and fun treasury
earcandyart makes amazing earrings - as the name suggests.
She has the very clever idea of selling earrings in threes instead of pairs and they are miz and match so that you can be slightly assymetrical if you choose!
I love these mocha donuts.
Last week I looked out of my window and the sky was amazing soft pinks and bluey greys.
I just had to incorporate these colours in the treasury I was compiling at the time!

Friday Fill In
And...here we go!
1. The first rule of working in an office and getting along is buying birthday cakes on everyone's birthday .
2. I like scallops better than clams.
3. When I think of carnivals I think of all the laughing and squeeling and having fun.
4. Snowdrop is my favorite spring flower.
5. Things on my desk include millions of beads.
6. Cutting grass makes me wanna sneeze.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to the local highschool art and craft show , tomorrow my plans include visiting friends and going for a bushwalk and Sunday, I want to watch my daughter play soccer and not do much else!
