I'm always looking for great ways to store jewellery.
Here's a great tutorial on how to make a jewellery display from scratch by Tanya from Dans le Townhouse.
Doesn't it look fabulous?
You could hang it on a wall or sit it on your dressing table or a shelf. If you did that then it would also be portable.
It's filled with Tanya's own gorgeous creations. (She is a clever-clogs!)
I'm also thinking that you could repurpose something for the same use - a drawer perhaps?
What do you think?

How to - make a cake stand jewellery display stand
I'm always looking for great ways to store my jewellery rather than in a jumbled tangle on my dressing table.
I love this idea from Sarah Ortega.
Of course you can always make several and use them for cake stands as well!
It's easy-peasy and you can find out how to do it here.

How to - create a necklace display from thread spools
For those of you who have a selection (hrmmm) of necklaces and they all just lie tumbled on your dresser (like me) - here is a cool way to display them.
The old wooden thread spools are decorative in their own right.
Your necklaces will hang nicely and not get all tangled and damaged.
Your necklaces will look pretty too, hanging up.
I wonder if you could do this on a board so you don't damage the walls (particularly important if you are a renter) and you can take your display with you when you move or restyle your home.
You can find out all about how to do it on Design Sponge.
