I wish for some lovely creations from aussie sellers this week.
It's cold and rainy and I want to snuggle into a warm dress -
wrap myself in a beautiful scarf -
and hold onto this stack of rings -

monday's treasuries
One pretty treasury this week.
What a lovely collection by jewelflyt! Perfectly poised indeed.

Thanks so much Vicki for including my Spring Sunset necklace
Vicki of Jewelflyt makes such unusual silver jewellery.
I totally love this pendant - you have to see how it looks when worn.
Thanks Vicki!

Local legend has it that Christmas in July started on one dark cold winter's night in 1980 in a hotel in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
A group of Irish friends were toasting their toes in front of a roaring log fire and bemoaning the hot christmases here in Australia.
The enterprising hotelier offered to serve a traditional christmas feast, with all the associated trimmings, and Santa - and the tradition was begun.
Since then the tradition has spread around the world, not just places in the Southern hemisphere.
Any excuse for a celebration!
Join the Australian sellers on etsy as they hold their first ever huge Christmas in July event.

Using up all those odd beads

This is a great way to use up all those odd beads left over from other projects.
For some reason I have a lot of this bracelet size memory wire, I think I kept forgetting I already had some and then I would go and buy more!
I also have to admit that threading on memory wire is a pain, so I dont do it a lot.
But now I have found a really happy use for it - and I am gradually emptying my orphan beads box. The ones there are only one of.
These bracelets are a mix of gemstones, glass, beads, cloisonne with either silver curved beads or rubber tubing inbetween . The more colourful the better!
These memory wire bracelets have been really popular, as soon as I make them they sell!
