Mad Monday - mad about guinea pigs!

Well they are pretty cute!

We had a series of guinea pigs when the kids were younger.
We had Pierre and Winston, Muffin, Cupcake and Brownie.
They get into your hearts because they love cuddles and make such sweet sqeaking noises, especially when they think they are getting food.

They are great demolishers of assorted veggie scraps!

So here are some cute images of guinea pigs that I found on the daily squee
and some other websites.

Then I looked on etsy to see what sort of guinea pig related goodies you could buy.
Look what I found!

How cute, I'm going to show my little boy these photos when he wakes up. We have had over 10 guinea pigs. But we only have two now. Curly Sue and Pearl.

They are fat and they are Pigs! They love their food and they love to poop! This is the play house my son and I made for them.;

Congrats, PoetessWug.
As for guinea pigs, I always longed to have a guinea pig when I was a kid. Imagine my delight, then, when in 3rd grade, our class had a pet guinea pig named Twiggy. Twiggy lived at the school, but someone had to take Twiggy home over the school breaks, and since I loved Twiggy so much, I got to take him home! I'm afraid I really dominated in the Twiggy department. I went and held him and played with him every chance I got. If another kid had wanted to spend much time with Twiggy, I don't think he or she would have stood much of a chance!
Twiggy was my only guinea pig, but now I hava cat, and I love her a lot, too.
