Five fabulous Friday finds from my faves.

Hello! And happy Friday!

Here are a few bits and bobs from my faves.

I love cowls! Have I said that before?
They are so practical! So warm and snuggly and they don't get tangled in stuff or droop into your dinner!

I reckon this one would go with all your outfits.

I think I'm loving this on as much for the photo as anything.
And what a fabulous idea - hand-torn fabric on a bobbin-with-character.
You could use it - to wrap a special gift perhaps or you could just keep it in a special place.
What would you do?

You could combine this ribbon with these super-sweet note cards - they feature handcut fabrics and handdrawn details - aren't they just the darlingest?

Yeah, I'm a pottery fan!
I would love love one of these handthrown citrus juicers - how much fun would it be to use this to make your lemon meringue pie or orange cake?
I'd want to juice juice juice all day long!

Am I attracted to this by the adorable kitty?
Or the quirky design?
Or is it the juxtaposition of the smooth pine with the rough found bush timber?
Hey! don't overthink it!
It would look great in my new home!

And what a fabulous shop name too!

Have a great rootin'-tootin' weekend!

Five fab Friday finds from my faves

Fancy a cuppa?

Yes please! Especially in these colourful retro cups painted by Art by Therese.

How about this vibrant fun telephone purse by octopurse?
What fabulous fabric!

I'm also liking the slightly quirky washing blowing in the breeze in soveryhappyart's photograph.
I can almost smell that wonderful smell of fresh air-dried laundry! Am I strange?

I was delighted to see that heidiandseek are back on etsy with her wonderful range of reconsructed clothing.
Welcome back!
Just waiting, waiting for the right one!

Maybe these sweet little earrings would look good with this dress.

Five Fab Friday Finds from my Faves - feeling quirky!

I'm feeling a little whimsical today and quirky seems to fit my mood.
So I thought I'd share some of my more whimsical picks.

This is listed as a toy - but I could so totally adopt it!
How pretty is it?
I love the little pompom roof edging.

I there anything more whimsical than a hot air balloon?
Or just plain crazy!
Have you ever been up in a hot air balloon? I don't think I could.
So this is a great substitute to satisfy my floating away into the blue yonder yearnings.

I love teapots!
How cool would it be to have your morning cuppa from a teapot like this with its delightful plant illustration?

I just couldn't resist the wistful expression on little mister fox's face.
Oh...and his name is "Owen" - how adorable!
And there are any number of more delightful plushies in this shop.

I think I need to start a collection of cute little houses - like this one.

Five Fabulous Friday Finds from my Faves - yoga

How has your week been?

How do you like to start your week?

I start mine with a yoga class every Monday, and it's a great way for me to begin the week.

Sooooo, I thought I'd show you some yoga-ish finds.

You can never have too many yoga tops, and I love the sentiment on this one.
It looks super-comfy too.

Then, of course, you need something for the future cooler weather.
In fact I would probably wear this a lot - and not just for yoga.

Comfy pants are a must too.
There are lots of lovely ones in this shop, it was hard to chose.

What a fabulous yoga mat bag! So practical - it's worm like a backpack and has a spot to hold a drink bottle as well.
I already have a mat bag by Alipink, but this one is still on my list.

And I just could not resist this cute poster with salute to the sun on - I can never remember the order of it. This is just the job!

Do you do yoga?
Or any other regular exercise? Alone or with a friend or group?

Five Fabulous Friday Finds

I feel that I am always posting the same sort of things in my Friday Faves.

I have a penchant for rings, coin purses, photographs and quirky art - that's all!

I love the simplicity of these diamond stacking rings - would love to have all three of them! (The link goes to a listing for the bottom ring only).
Hey! I can dream - right?!

Continuing my love of sweet little zip pouches - I have to severely restrain myself from buying every zip pouch/coin purse that I see!
I could easily pocket all of these -

I'm a bit the same way about notebooks - you can never have too many can you?
This one has adorable original artwork on - reminds me of children's stories, or nursery rhymes.

The next find fills my addiction to both dreamy photography and cushions!
I would need to buy some more chairs if I bought more cushions - but I can dream!
I admit that I saw these over on Red Parka - thanks Jen for sharing!

You really should go and check out this shop - it has many beautiful applications of her photographs -

.....and now for something completely different!
From my lovely on-line friend Deb of Two Cheeky Monkeys - a range of eye-popping neon necklaces.
Wow!

I promise next week I will break away from my "usual" picks and find some mad, unusual stuff!.....off I go to search....
